From there, players should direct their cameras toward the sun on the ceiling to be instantly transported to a level with a big red switch, which will unlock the Wing Cap when pressed. For the uninitiated, the Wing Cap can be earned by first collecting 10 Stars and then standing on the sun that is found on the floor in the castle's lobby. While it is technically possible to finish Mario Wings to the Sky without unlocking the Wing Cap in Super Mario 64, the challenge is much easier with the assistance of this special power-up. Fortunately, with just a bit of preparation fans should have little trouble grabbing the requisite coins and earning this Super Mario 64Power Star. The catch here is that these coins hang in mid-air, and reaching them may initially seem quite difficult. Players that want to earn all of the Stars on Super Mario 64's first course, Bob-omb Battlefield, will eventually need to complete a challenge called Mario Wings to the Sky that centers around collecting five special coins.
